you are correct but--she actually sees just fine..just differently if that makes sense--it is like she sees a map in her head somehow--she never forgets a trail. she is a marvel.
We had a blind German Shepherd that we rescued who navigated over an acre of challenging terrian, rarely bumping her nose. She lived a long and happy life, but I think she would have been jealous of Maggi and her adventures!
Those big Irish pups of yours lead a very wonderful dog's life. I'll bet they wouldn't trade it for anything!
