As They Say in Obedience Class--HEAL!

There are two patients waiting at the doctors clinic--both require hip surgery. The first patient is seen right away, admitted for surgery and sent home for rest and recovery.

The second patient is sent for painful tests and X-rays. After a few weeks he is giving medication and sent for therapy. He is put on a 3 month waiting list and has to stay in the hospital for 2 weeks after his surgery. What was the difference between the first and second patient?

The first patient was an Afghan Hound--the second patient was a senior citizen. Love Groucho.

Oh hi... it's Guinness. Don't bother me right now. I am busy gazing at my beautiful Marlee.

You guys remember my friend Marlee right? I mean, LOOK at her!

She is always giving me "the look". Gulp. But today I want Marlee to meet Maggi!

Since they can both be DIVAS, everyone is sure hoping these girls will get along! Maggi senses and smells Marlee, but she can not SEE her. Oh! So THIS is what you call a BLIND DATE. Haha!

Fearing the worst I look away! But there is no need--the girls get along fine!

They even go off on their own for some quality girl time. Hrmmphh!!! I wonder what they are talking about. Probably their weight!

Now Marlee spends some time with me! Last time we met I was sad and lonely. But now I want to play! Weeeee! We play until the sun goes down.

Now it is dark. Marlee has gone home. She has a big day tomorrow and needs her beauty sleep. She is going to the South Shore to her cottage for Easter--remember?

Oh don't worry. Me and Maggi made up this Easter basket for Marlee's trip--she won't go hungry!

Now we are happy. We know Marlee will have fresh eggs and think of us on Easter Morning! Safe travels Marlee!

The Last Snow Cone

It's Guinness! Winter has come to an end, and I am eating my fill of snow that is left.

Now that we come right down to it...I am kinda gonna miss it....

Oh hi, it's me! Guinness! I am all buckled up and ready to go! We are going to the cabin--I want to see if Maggi likes the camp!

Look! there is still so much snow. That is because we are inland now--away from the coast. We have to walk the kilometer into the camp.

Nevermind who you think you might see in this picture, he wasn't invited. He just appeared out of thin air like the Great Gazoo--his idea of an April Fool's joke.

We walk all the way up to the camp. Crick Hollow is still in rough shape from the hurricane last Autumn, but that is ok. We will fix it in the Spring.

Maggi loves Crick Hollow. There is lots of room for her to run around!

We play around--and have some snacks!

And inside, Maggi enjoys stretching out on the bed by herself!

But it is still too cold to stay much longer. So we head back down to the car--just the two of us.
