Back to Africa

Guinness here!  Years ago I told you about a tree that reminds my human of AFRICA!  And everytime time we hike down there we pretend we are going on a big safari.
The problem is Maggi does not like to walk through the long straw.  I think it makes her feel trapped and she can't find a way out of that long grass.  So my human dad took his tractor and cut a trail--SEE?

Now we can all enjoy the walk to Africa again. And  look... Maggi loves it!

My human climbs the tree.  She thinks she is 9 and not 39.

But Maggi does not like that one bit.  She cries and whimpers.  She does not understand "UP".

So now we will all sit together UNDER the tree instead!'s better to keep your feet planted firmly on the ground.

  1. Nothing is too good for Miss Maggi! I am so glad that she got her very own path so you can continue to enjoy your safaris.

  2. That is an awesome story! Africa in your own back yard, who woulda ever thought!

  3. That´s what a father should be like! Cut the grass :)

  4. Nice to cut the straw for her! I was just thinking about how she'd move around out there.

  5. Wow, that really does look like Africa! Boy, you better watch out for lions! Talk about big cats...whew.

  6. Maggi is so lucky to be so loved and to have such a caring family. We are sure she knows it too.

  8. We'd like to go on safari with you, too, and we agree with Maggi, we'd probably get lost in that tall grass. So nice to make a trail so everyone can enjoy the outing.
