This is Saige. Ummm..see that big tree way over there above my head? Mom calls that place "Africa". So when she asks us if we want to go to Africa, it really means, the farm. Our mom has never been to Africa and there are most likely no trees like this in Africa, but if she thinks it is Africa then we won't tell her the difference. *Cuckoo, Cuckoo*
GRRRRR...Africa--lions and elephants and tigers---GRRRRR--HAHAHA!
Well, c'mon Guinness, it's a long way to Africa--cough cough.
Whew--well, we are getting close now... but I need to sit down for a minute. Guinness will tell the rest of the adventure.
Ummm...so here is the Tree.
...and you can see there is still an old blind once used for hunting de...Gazelles. Wild African Gazelles.
Climb on up there Saige. Here, I'll give you a bum boost.
Easy now.....
HAHAHA!! Sucker. What do you think you are, a Tennessee Tree Brindle? hehe!
Hope you enjoyed the Safari.
Hey, great safari guys! We like your 'action shot' - whew, that's an impressive set of teeth on you Guiness! We'd like to visit you in Africa *cough!* one day - looks like great fun! Tail wags - JD and Max.
ReplyDeleteWe loved the Grrrr shot!!! Very scary! We were very impressed with you climbing the ladder - if only Bailey had had that on holiday!

ReplyDelete-Kira The BeaWootiful
I think it looks a lot like Africa to me - at least, the Africa from the movie posters of "Out of Africa." Another fun and intesting explore!
ReplyDeleteSee ya!
Joey
Wowzers! That's so cool! Who knew you could walk to Africa from your house?!!? You all must be exhausted after all that!
ReplyDeleteDid you see and of those gazelles? How about antelopes? Ammy wants me to ask about cantaloupes, but I refuse to pass along any more of her bad puns. What? I already did? Hmm. I need to go hunt some wild Siberian.
Play bows,
Zim
Does going to Africa turn you into a wild beast? Those toofers were scary.
ReplyDeleteSlobbers,
Mango
That was a great safari adventure, you two would scare away any predators for sure. =)

Great photos!
ReplyDeleteWe just read in the newspaper that the golfer John Daly who was over in Ireland for the Irish Open collected an Irish wolfhound pup from a local kennels here yesterday to bring home with him. He didn't do too well in the golf this weekend but he got a great dog!!
lots of woofs

Ooh - lovely photos! My humans says she thinks it DOES look a bit like Africa - all sort of wild and open spaces...hmm, I think these humans all need some mental help. And they call themselves the superior species? :-)
ReplyDeleteSlobbers,
Honey the Great Dane
Wow, you went on a great adventure! We are very jealous that you can run all the way to Afreekha and be off your leash. We'd love to run with you! Foster-bro Cache is very quick and I bet we could pretend he's our Aunt-lope! I'm thinking that stairway would lead to a great place for me to direct the things that need to be directed and the goings on. Whitney is not as impressed. It seems there was no ball involved, and therefore she less interested.
ReplyDeleteWoos,
Sasha (and the Girlz)
