Blind Date

Oh hi... it's Guinness. Don't bother me right now. I am busy gazing at my beautiful Marlee.

You guys remember my friend Marlee right? I mean, LOOK at her!

She is always giving me "the look". Gulp. But today I want Marlee to meet Maggi!

Since they can both be DIVAS, everyone is sure hoping these girls will get along! Maggi senses and smells Marlee, but she can not SEE her. Oh! So THIS is what you call a BLIND DATE. Haha!

Fearing the worst I look away! But there is no need--the girls get along fine!

They even go off on their own for some quality girl time. Hrmmphh!!! I wonder what they are talking about. Probably their weight!

Now Marlee spends some time with me! Last time we met I was sad and lonely. But now I want to play! Weeeee! We play until the sun goes down.

Now it is dark. Marlee has gone home. She has a big day tomorrow and needs her beauty sleep. She is going to the South Shore to her cottage for Easter--remember?

Oh don't worry. Me and Maggi made up this Easter basket for Marlee's trip--she won't go hungry!

Now we are happy. We know Marlee will have fresh eggs and think of us on Easter Morning! Safe travels Marlee!

Marlee's Big Plunge!

Guinness here and look who came to visit me at my cabin! It is Marlee the Landseer Newf!

I am taking her down the path to see the River.

Oh oh! Marlee gets that saucy look in her eyes. She knows the river is close and runs up ahead..

KERSPLASH!!! What was THAT!!?? Marlee FELL in the RIVER! She thought it was a tapering beach and just walked right in over her head!

That's it Marlee, shake it off, shake it off..you're alright.

Marlee seems a little sheepish about her miscalculation. She is a little shocked, but just fine!

Hehehe...now the score is even. Remember when Marlee tricked me last summer? She told me we were going to the Caribbean but when I went in the water it was actually the frigid Atlantic ocean. Hehe, so now I got a good one on Marlee!

Marlee is a good sport, and when we get back to the camp, there is strawberry yogurt to eat. And it doesn't really get much better than that, does it? Bye Marlee..til our next adventure!

Guinness and Marlee here reporting from the South Shore, Nova Scotia. Here are some of the friends we met on our adventure in the high seas!

Don't worry--Marlee and me keep a respectable distance. Life comes in so many strange and lovely forms doesn't it? Every creature great and small contributes to the ebb and flow of this mysterious world in ways we will never know. But enough of my philosophy.

Marlee and me spend some quality time searching for treasures, and unlocking the mysteries of the Universe.

But now I have to leave the South Shore...back to the North Shore, my home. Back to the Fundy Bay where our Coast is harsh and rugged. Where the Sea is savage and unforgiving. But alas, the next great adventure could not begin if this one did not end....*SOB*. Goodbye Dear Friends, til next summer and we will meet back here once again. Thank you so much. Caribbean Getaway

Guinness here! And look! Here is my friend Marlee and her humans!

They invited me over for a day in the Caribbean! So I hop in the car... and now here I am!

I have never been to the Caribbean before...Marlee leads the way!

She takes me to the powdery white sand beaches found only in this tropical paradise.

AHH! Look at all the little islands and this endless beach!

UH OH! Marlee is running for the water! She looks like a Baywatch Beauty Queen flaunting and flirting all her curves--I can't take my eyes off her.

She takes the plunge. There is only one thing for it...in I go!

GACK! This is NOT the Carribean! It is the frigid Atlantic Ocean! BAH...fooled again!

Oh well. That is ok, Nova Scotia's best keep secret are her beautiful, secluded beaches. Huh? Where is everyone going? What buried treasures are to be found down there?

Sand dollars! I am rich! Hehehe!
