Retirement

Guinness here doing my chores at the farm. I have a major announcement.

Well..today is my birthday and I am 6!!!!!  That is a pretty special birthday as far as wolfhounds go.  But not quite as special as 7.  Seven is the biggest birthday for a wolfhound..and my human said when I turn 7, I will be allowed to retire from my duties and just be a dog.  I won't have to do my checks, and I won't be asked to get up and at 'em quite so much.  If i want to sleep in, I will get to sleep in...if I want to stay warm by the fire all afternoon...I will be allowed.

But c'mon Maggi, I am still just only six, so let's get to work.  In the meantime, here are some of my favorite pictures from when I was a young pupper.  Happy New Years everyone.
ENJOY

  1. You sure were goofy when you were a pup. Happy birthday, big guy. Six really is an important milestone for a wolfie. You don't look anywhere close to retirement.
