  3. Hi, guys! We sure hope nobody speeds where you live so it's safe for you to walk in the middle of the pavement. We saw the most gorgeous IW at the vets last week; an 18 month old male with a Great Dane brother. We decided to ignore mama turning pea green with envy. When this IW stood up in a relaxed posture, his tail dragged on the ground. Do your tails rest on the ground when you're standing? We usually see you in motion or lying down or at an angle where we can't tell. Sure looks cooler there than it is here.

Are you celebrating your winning the War of 1812 up there like we're celebrating our winning of the War of 1812 down here? :) Actually, we're commemorating the start of the War here in Baltimore and the writing of the Star Spangled Banner, with honorary guests from Canada and the UK. Guess it's a 'good' war when everyone feels like they won and they're good friends for 200 years after.

    1. Saige's tail touched the ground. Guinness and Maggi about 3 inches off the ground. Saige was a huge, boney, rangey hound and sounds more like the bone structure of the hound you saw. Guinness and Maggi seem to be more the American strain of wolfies--Saige seemed to have the ancient blood-line and looked more line the hounds you would see in the old paintings
