"Brag of your Country! When you have beaten me of everything else I say--How high does your tide rise?"
--Joseph Howe Haha! It is just Guinness reporting from the bottom of the ocean.
The tide is out. But soon she will come rolling back with mighty strength to take down all in her path! Beware!
But in her brief, bloated calm the Fisherman can venture out and cast their nets once again...
Wow that's a low tide! Is it always so low?
ReplyDeleteAw, Guinness! You are full of poetry and beautiful scenes today. The ocean floor, imagine! Where do the little sea creatures go when the tide is low?
ReplyDeleteKisses,
Stella
This has always amazed me. (I took pictures like this in Harbourville the last time I was up there.)
ReplyDeleteWhat a very low tide? An unusual occurrence? We sure hope you make it to the high ground in time.
ReplyDeleteWoos ~ Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara
Pretty cool Guinness but you better get outta there. Find any treasures?
ReplyDeleteBenny & Lily
yes this is Habourville! and the tides go out like this every day, every 12 hours --the ocean floor is filled with many crabs and shells and scallops and clams!
ReplyDeleteI am wondering now if Guinness ate any of the goodies o the ocean floor.
ReplyDeleteWow that looks really cool. Were there any yummies on the ocean floor?
ReplyDeleteNubbin wiggles,
Oskar
We have heard about the tides in your part of the world and that they are fierce and fast!

Mango
Guiness!! My human has been in that same spot , the boats look almost identical! I hope you had water wings just in case!
ReplyDeleteWow, Guiness - that must be a BIG tide to cover all that - what a huge difference!
ReplyDeleteSo did you find anything interesting on the ocean floor? Huh? Did you? :-)
Slobbers,
Honey the Great Dane
Now, that would be interesting to watch the tide return... from high ground!!
