The Drain

Hi --it is Guinny. This is a picture of me last August--remember my faux-hawk??? hehehe. But really... I want to show you something. There is an expression in Nova Scotia when we go out to the Sea, "...Watch The Tides!" the Bay of Fundy has the highest tides in the world. Sometimes people underestimate the power of the Tide and how quick it can rush in to claim its victims! Tourists are often unaware and sometimes have to be rescued...and look how close we cut it in this picture. NOT SMART. We were out by that Waterfall behind me during low tide and look how fast the tide creeped up on us--look at that small passage behind me between the tide and the cliffs. Too much longer and you have to scale the cliff or die.

And this is called THE DRAIN! you won't see this everyday. The powerful tides gush in this narrow chasm and fill it to the top in a few seconds. And then just as quick the tide drains it empty like a vortex. Listen--it sounds the same as when you flush a toilet!

We are NOT Alone....

Hi, it is Guinness and I have deduced that Groucho is an ALIEN. Let's look at the cold hard evidence shall we? THIS....is the Teletubbies monstrosity he tries to pull off as his tail.

And uh---the dude has no bones. he is like some sort of weird contortionalist.

Also, he speaks in strange tounges...have you heard him? It is an unearthly language. Whatcha saying there Gonzo---umm, i mean Groucho.

And yeah, finally...well, just look at him. Sorry about your face there Vulcan, but c'mon--what IS that???

We still have some funds left over from our research grant when we travelled to the moon. So we loaded him back into our SpaceShip.

We figure he either hijacked our ship on our return flight or some of his own kind knocked him over his head and stowed him when we weren't looking.

Any of this look familiar buddy?

Well, he still seems confused... he doesn't recognize the surroundings, and no one is here to claim him. So I guess we'll bring him back to Earth with us for now.

Wow! I gotta go Pee!!!!! NOW!!

Guess what. I am a REALLY BAD BOY--and I wait all day to pee because I am lazy and picky. Certain conditions have to be met for me to be satisfied. I will not go out in my play pen. I will not go in the front yard. You have to take me out on a special trip so I can try and weasel a walk out of you at the same time. So sometimes, I get stuck holding it.

because I hold it so long, sometimes it takes me over 2 minutes to pee! Everyone rolls their eyes at me and it is a big joke.

I have to admit, I sometimes get so tired of peeing I lean up against a wall or a tree and just keep peeing. that is how long it takes me. Well, thanks for listening, I just had to get that out of my system...hehehe!

My mom didn't know what I was watching for so long in this tree. No, it is not a porcupine! Then she went home and looked at the picture a little closer. I am talking to the Wizard! can you see him?

Quick Quick! Back through the cave, tip toe tip toe...through the River splish splash splish splash, Over the bridge, creak crack creak crack. Back to our house, Run up the stairs, Jump into bed, pull up the covers....
