Well, shortly after we arrived some people came walking up our road. They were having their own adventure, and that is the first time we ever met anyone way out in the woods at our camp. And they had THIS! A Jack Russell Terrier named Bailey! And she came walking up our road like it was her job!!!
But I was a gentleman and gave her a tour of the Doghouse.
She checked it all over and went in all these places that we have never been--like under the chairs, in back of the stove, up the stairs...this was a woman who knew what she wanted.

What a charming little hostess. I hope you checked under the chairs too.

Once again, mom is falling all over herself thinking you are the cutest ever. I think you're dashing, but I remain composed.

ReplyDeleteWe are glad that you are able to see there are some merits in little legs!
We would like long ones like yours but it is true you can fit under things.
Martha never wants to come home either when she is out - especially in the woods!

Hi Guiness
ReplyDeleteYou are so cute.
Love Ruby & Penny
Wow, Guinness! She's pretty cute! You were quite the gentleman to show her around and all!
ReplyDeleteHa roo, Storm and I are masters at pretending we need to go potty. I especially like to do that in the middle of the night, when I hear the coyotes howling to me. I get Mom to take me out so I can commune with them.
Play bows,
Zim
That is very profound, Guinness. If you don't go sometime, there won't be a next time. I like it. The lake sure was pretty, and Bailey was a cute little friend!
ReplyDeleteSee ya!

Hi Guiness,
ReplyDeleteWhat a great visitor! And am so proud of you too for going out further in the water...I'm like you and it's taken my humans 5 YEARS (!) to get me brave enough to wade out...people don't understand that us big dogs can be a little scared of water and don't like to just plunge in like Labs! (Although have you seen that pic of Waldo jumping in the pool? Amazing! I don't believe that dog is a Dane!!)
Slobbers,
Honey the Great Dane
