Guinness' Story

Seven months ago Guinness was in a horrible accident. He was hit by a car and smashed his left front leg to pieces. He had to be taken to the Atlantic Vet College over on Prince Edward Island. He had 2 surgeries to fix his front leg, but strangely his back legs also stopped working. So he was a 1 legged dog. We took him home but had to carry him with towels--one person on the back towel, and one on the front. After a while he wanted to walk but neurologically his back legs just didn't seem to work, they wobbled all over the place and wouldn't support his weight. Slowly, with lots of $upport and Love, here is Guinness 7 months later....

  3. Poor Guinness! It's a big challenge that was made even bigger by his size.

Thankfully, he had you as his family.

  5. What a horrible accident and what a fantastic recovery Guinness made. The little man's mum has had two hip replacements and two dislocations so she knows all about having metal in her legs and it's not fun!

Glad that Guinness recovered so well.

    Lots of woofs
