Take it America, it is Yours!

To our dear American friends and neighbors... your groundhog, Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow ...

But Shubenacadie Sam over here in Nova Scotia did not!  So it looks like we will see an early spring...but you folks will have to endure 6 more weeks of winter.

It is all yours!  TAKE IT!  love Guinness

  1. I still have no idea who gave the groundhog any authority! Oh well...I still haven't learned to ski!

  2. Oh my! I didn't recognize you laying there all covered in snow at first. I thought it was a short hedge at first ;-)

  3. I have never heard about Shubenacadie Sam, but it he feels the need to predict, let him have at it! Phil says the same thing every year, so he is pretty safe!

  4. We are so very confused. We are going to have six more weeks of winter??? But we don't think we have even had a bit of winter yet??? Mother Nature is very confused.

  6. never heard about the Nova Scotia groundhog. How interesting. Not that we have a groundhog in Oz. But we'd like to at least experience a bit of summer this year!

    That last picture is priceless.

  7. Your words worked! Colorado is getting all of your snow! How'd you do that! Is the "Alien" involved with this situation?

  8. Alas, here in central California, we have
hardly had ANY winter. We need those six
more weeks.....but, this sunshine is beautiful!

  9. Fantastic camouflage, Guinness! We can hardly see you. Hope Maggie suffered no lasting ill effects from her dunking the other day.

Not sure it's meteorologically possible for you to get Spring if we're still in Winter, but it's been a mild Winter for us so far, so maybe that's close enough to your Spring.

  10. Hey Guinness!
Wow, I'll trade our (confused) groundhog for your (sensible) one! BOL. Punxsutawney Phil is practically my neighbor, but if he doesn't hurry up our Spring, I'm gonna have to bash him! Love that last pix.
