I walk down a long winding road--towards the middle of the forest! I am not scared.
Finally I reach the thick fern patch. I know because I can smell their sweet, lush scent!
*pant pant huff puff*. It is hard work being a Myth-Buster!
I am hot and thirsty after all that walking. AHHH! I feel something cool and wet!
Ha. Makes you wonder how stories like that get started in the first place, doesn't it?
You are very brave Maggie! We're glad there was no hippo lurking in that great in your dark pool.
ReplyDeleteSugar the Who
Wow, Maggi! You impress me with your bravery. I wonder, too, how that rumour got started. Maybe someone just wanted to scare somebody, But Not You!

Maggie you are such a daring hound. (We thought it might have been Groucho, too.) You look so cool in that pool.
ReplyDeleteXXXOOO Daisy, Kendra & Bella
Oh Maggie, thankgoodness. For a moment I thought Groucho was going to jump out and scare me too. No worries, and love, Stella
ReplyDeleteMakes me smile after a long hard day.
ReplyDeleteWe sure are glad you didn't come across any hippos! Glo and Miss Mindy
ReplyDeleteMiss Maggi,
ReplyDeleteYou are very brave to go looking for the legendary fat hippo all on your own. Guess Guinness was just too chicken. I think you should keep that story to yourself. Let Guinness think there is a monster when you know there is just a wonderful garden.
Slobbers,
Mango
