Brings me instantly back to childhood! We used to be able to hear them so clearly going to sleep before they built the school at the end of our street. I still love that sound...makes me sleepy.
Why, 'tis the ghost of Kermit McPeeper, come back to haunt the poor wolfies of Annapolis Valley. A fearsome thing! We shall pronounce the ancient Druidic incantations for the safety of our heroes.
Love that sound! We have the same critters down here in my neck of the woods in Kansas. But for some reason when I go to check out the sound, it stops. Imagine that! ;->

Jed sure jumped out of a sound sleep and came trotting over to see what that sound was. We've never heard it before, but mama remembers that sound from when she was young. Looks like you both were enjoying a wonderful Spring evening.

ReplyDeleteThey are tiny little tree frogs - yessss spring is here. They cry their little hearts out here too. We love their sound.
