Peepers! The sound of spring.
Brings me instantly back to childhood! We used to be able to hear them so clearly going to sleep before they built the school at the end of our street. I still love that sound...makes me sleepy.
They are froggies, right? We can hear them from the creek that is at the bottom of our hill. Welcome Spring!
They are tiny little tree frogs - yessss spring is here. They cry their little hearts out here too. We love their sound.
Ah, lovely. Froggies? and crickets, too??
birds? frogs? crickets?
Frogs? We were going to say cicadas, like we have here; but it looks too dark for them.XXXOOO Daisy, Kendra & Bella

Love that sound! We have the same critters down here in my neck of the woods in Kansas. But for some reason when I go to check out the sound, it stops. Imagine that! ;->Great photo! Such a huge, happy smile on your face!Suka
Jed sure jumped out of a sound sleep and came trotting over to see what that sound was. We've never heard it before, but mama remembers that sound from when she was young. Looks like you both were enjoying a wonderful Spring evening.Jed & Abby
