Saige here at the keyboard. This is my sister Silver. She lives further up the Valley in a historic bed and breakfast with her family. You can see her beautiful home here
http://www.silvershoebedandbreakfast.com/ Here we are. Pink and yellow. See us? We were close from the start!
And here we are just a few weeks old! How do you like my tiger stripes?
There was one other female in the litter. you already met her--
remember Hannah?
...and here is puppy Silver in her home with her family. Look how utterly adorable she is!
And sometimes I would come over to play because Silver needed a confidence damper-- she was eating the other dogs. See?
I have a heart on my chest because I love Silver so much!
Even as pups, wolfhounds know how to make themselves at home. As a breed, we are notorious for taking advantage of the comforts of your home.
Then we would go outside and burn off some energy!
Aren't we so cute and little?
Then a few months later we took puppy training class with some other dogs.
This picture really sums up sweet Silver and stupid me.
I really hated that puppy training class and refuse to do any more training. Ever. sorry, it's just how I roll. See ya soon Silver!
Thanks for introducing us to your family. And we agree on refusing training, except they pull out food. Unfair.
ReplyDeleteSilver is beautiful. But of course, she is your sissy. Hey! Training isn't so bad when there are hot dogs involved.
ReplyDeleteSlobbers,
Mango
Nice to see some photos of the little (well, if that word can really apply to a wolfhound) you! I bet you were as big when you were born as I am now!

Brutus the Frenchie
I love seeing the whole family. {sigh} I guess you know what you've done...now we have to find a wolfie puppy because I KNOW my husband won't be able to stop himself.
ReplyDeleteSilver is just lovely! How much did you weigh at birth? I sure wonder what my 10lb Bill would do if he saw you!!! I probably would be laughing my butt off!
ReplyDeleteOH MY GOSH!! I just saw your blog and my husband is going to FALL IN LOVE with your pups! He's been dying for a Wolfie, but we just got a Kerry Blue puppy! Thank you for sharing such beautiful pictures!
ReplyDeleteAwww you and Silver are the cutest together!
ReplyDeleteI love that Darwin and her brother have almost weekly playdates. I get sent pictures and I love how they cuddle on the couch together to take naps, just like you and your sister! Too cute!
It's nice having family near by to visit and play with....although it was a bit disturbing to discover the BnB took....GASP!...catses and not dogses? What's with that? I mean, realllllly...how many peeps travel with catses? But a lots of peeps travel with us far superior dogses.
ReplyDeleteJust sayin....it ain't right.

Hi, this is Silver - Saige I really need to play with you and Guinness again! Those labbies who live with me aren't real dogs, you know! I was very flattered to see all those teenager pictures on here - it seems like a long time ago. Soon we'll have an outing in the wilderness with our moms.
ReplyDeleteAnd did you see me with Liam and Finn? We will all meet some time soon then we will be a group of 5 IRISH WOLFHOUNDS! Can't wait!
Silver with Sandra & Giselle
Sisters. That's great you know where your sister is. We don't know where any of our siblings are....so we just have to be sisters ourselves.
ReplyDeleteYou are both beautiful.
XXXOOO Daisy, Kendra & Bella
Hi Saige - oh, I loved this post and learning mroe about your family! I didn't realise wolfhoudn pups were born so dark and then become so much lighter as they grow up! Silver is beautiful - and you look adorable together. It's funny - I have NEVER seen wolfhounds out and about - and my humans have only ever seen them at Crufts - they seem to be a very rare breed - and yet, it seems like there are lots of wolfhounds in your town! :-)
ReplyDeleteSlobbers,
Honey the Great Dane
ps, my human is still squealing over those "giant microbes" (Sigh) - sometimes I wonder at the strange things that delight the human mind...
We loved seeing the photos of when you were little and of your sister Silver!
ReplyDeleteLovely!
Just love when baby pictures get posted. So cute!
