Celtic Connections

Oh hi, it's Guinness. As you saw from yesterday's sneak peak I'm visiting Scotland!

That's right! And I am staying in this old farm house with my human and her sister, Erica. It is important to get back to your roots you know!

And look--Erica has these two pet ratties.

What do you think? They are the size of my head.

And right in the back yard there is a lovely sheep farm. And I fall asleep each night to the sound of little lambs Baaahing for there mothers. It is really peaceful and gentle.

Except there are these strange creatures called Llamas and they follow me everywhere.

Look! Even when I go along the back of the field the llamas follow me everwhere. Gulp. Perhaps they think I am a llama too?

What is this???? Atlantic lobster for supper? That's right--umm--I forgot to tell you something...

I am in NEW SCOTLAND. That is what Nova Scotia really means---so I played a little trick on you. hehehe. Hope you liked my little adventure to NEW SCOTLAND!

  1. Oh Guinness, you rascal, you! Do the little ratties seem to be afraid of you? I bet not, your gentleness shines out!

I see where people are commenting on your bad haircut . . .but the best thing about hair is it grows out fast. By the time winter comes you will have a nice coat again!

With every new picture of your country side, I can see why my Pop wanted to visit New Scotland, and now I do too.

    Cheers and hugs,

    Jo, Stella and Zkhat

  2. I wondered how you traveled! Sneaky...but delightful trip. The little dogs would be food for our wild dogs-coyotes out west in Colorado where I live. ♥♫

  10. Great joke. And what a beautiful place. Watch where you're stepping, you don't want to get 'ratties' on your feet.

We usually have an Alpaca or two with the sheep. Apparently, they keep the foxes away.

  15. Guiness, you have the best adventures! We have 4 of those little ratties/chihuahuas at our house so I will let you in on a little secret. They really do think they are as big as you. Just humor them and keep them away from any mirrors while you are around and they will be fine ;-)
