Regal Rohan... Shoddy Us

Guinness here reporting from Crick Hollow. You will find me up here a lot this summer. Even though the camp needs a ton of work, we refuse to let that get in the way of enjoying it. Life is about the journey afterall...not the finished product.


But now I hear a truck coming up the lane. I fear the worst. I see Groucho has left his space ship up here like a permanent lawn fixture. But it is not Groucho...

It is my buddy the noble and proud ROHAN! Look at him! He is like a carefree gazelle gamboling through an enchanted forest!

I am really thrilled to see my buddy Rohan. Wolfhounds get on best with other wolfhounds afterall. Rohan reads my bloggy all the time--so he wants to see all our favorite spots for himself! Plus--his human is really amazed by Maggi and wants to meet her!

Well c'mon Rohan! I will take you to all the places...

First we hit the brook--you have all seen this spot loads before!

Now we go for a stroll down the lane, can you guess where we are going?

...to the local bar! Hahaha!

Hehehe... Look! It is Wolfhound Beach!

Now Rohan and I have some "Male" bonding time.

...and we have some "P-MAIL" bonding time :-)

All of a sudden Rohan rears back and charges like a gallant steed! It is a sight to behold and takes our breath away.

Actually, we kind of feel pretty seedy and ashamed of ourselves next to beautiful Rohan. What with my unkempt dreadlocks... and Maggi as fat as a stuffed pig.

Rohan certainly doesn't seem to mind. But my human is taken aback. There are not many wolfhounds around so she has forgotten how we are "suppose" to look. She says it is off to the groomers and Weight Watchers for me and Maggi... GULP!

We have a splendid day with Rohan, but now I have to give him kisses goodbye. It was such a great day for all of us.

Rohan leaves just in the nick of time. A few minutes later and the CIRCUS has come to town. Now we are feeling quite back to normal again....
