It is Guinness! All the farmers are hauling the hay off their fields!
So I go down and surprise my human dad!
Boy! Is he ever happy to see me! He even gets off his tractor for some rough housing!
But now it is getting dark. It is time to bring this last load back to the farm.
Back at the farm me and my human supervise. I watch all the tractors go up and down the road! Up and down, up and down! All the farmers are hauling their hay!
But look! One farmer stops. It is Barry. That is my Dad's farm buddy from down the road. All the farmers help out their neighbors.
Barry and my dad discuss all the local gossip. They talk about the hay crop. They talk about the weather. They complain about the government. As you can see...it is all VERY VERY serious business....
.....CLUNK....ZZZZZZZZ.....or not.....
Looks like it was a very busy and long day for all - no wonder you are conked out.

ReplyDeleteThat looks like a really long day and into the night! Good thing the tractors have headlamps.

Good of you to give your Dad a break. He probably needed some rough housing to relax after a long day hauling hay.
ReplyDeleteWe had an election a couple of weeks ago and still don't have a government. Don't think that's such a bad thing!

You farmers gotta go from sun-up to dark time, not an easy life!
ReplyDeleteGlad you are out there helping Dad and keeping busy.

BTW, Isabella and I are going to Cheyenne, WY tomorrow for our first Specialty Show. Wish us luck.
Cheers,
What a nice blog! I read that you had lost one of your wolfies; I'm so sorry. They are such an important part of our lives...
ReplyDeleteI don't know much about the breed, but the sweet faces tells you a lot about these dogs! People are always nervous about my GSD Olaf until they see his eyes; your dogs have that same look.
Thanks for sharing...
Hi Guinness, you sure are a helpful wolfie, we don't know what you're dad would do without you around to help. We love seeing photos of the farm.
