Hey, it's us. Even though we didn't do much for vacation Saige and I did manage a trip to the moon.
We got a research grant to find out the connection betweens dogs and the moon, and why we sometimes howl at it.
Saige went down to ground level to explore the moon surface.
She had excellent camouflage incase there were Extra Terrestrials.
That is one Giant Leap for Dogkind.
Meanwhile, I stayed up in the observation deck and kept my eyes peeled.
Saige became the first dog to discover water on the moon, and we have the first pictures of that historic moment right here. So Saige is really famous now, you'll probably be hearing about it sometime soon.
Anyways, we now have conclusive evidence suggesting that dogs howl at the Moon because they are thirsty and want a drink of water. Roger that, over and out.
Wolfies! You always have such great pictures ... and adventures ... and funding sources. I need to send an email to SSHRC and ask them what is up with my funding?
ReplyDeleteThanks for suggesting Piper. We really like that name, but we have a human friend called that and she might get confused. You know how easily befuddled people can be.

Whooo! Really enjoyed the pictures. Saige really did have her camouflage suit on and you did a great job of standing guard. Someone has to do that.

The moon!?!? Seriously!?!? Well.... allow me to ask the obvious!!! Is it really made of cheese, or is that just a big hoax?
ReplyDeletePlay bows,

PS: You two have the COOLEST adventures!!!
Oh wow - astro-doggies! You know, we DID think we saw a Saige shaped shadow when we looked up there last week so we're really not surprised.... Great expedition wolfies, you two go on such great adventures! Schnauzer snuggles - JD and Max.
ReplyDeleteThat explains so much!
ReplyDeleteGreat stealth moves!
The world owes you both a great amount of gratitude for your possibly dangerous, but ever so successful mission!
ReplyDeleteYou went to the moon? Is that further away than western Master Chew Sits? It looks quite forbidding. I have heard there is no gravity on the moom. Why didn't you float away?
ReplyDeleteSlobbers,
Mango

Hee! Hee! Loved this post - so creative! :-)
ReplyDeleteHerro Wolfies,
ReplyDeleteyou went to the moon?
Who would have thought that the reason why doggies howl at the moon is because we're thirsty?
That's why science is important because it allows one to make amazing discoveries!
smooches,
Mr Darcy
